Inforum 2010

INFORUM Conference, devoted to electronic information sources and their professional applications in science, research, education and business. At our stand we introduced visitors to the new format and functions of Manuscriptorium ̶ the European Digital Library of Written Cultural Heritage. The facility to build individual collections and create virtual documents was welcomed in the My Personal Library section. New tools created under the European ENRICH Project were demonstrated. In the Digital Access to Library Materials section Ing. Tomáš Psohlavec gave a lecture on the topic Manuscriptorium in Europe.

On-line guide to the holdings of the Czech Museum of Fine Arts, for which we are digitising scarce works, processing export of the data via the DEMUS system and ensuring that the outcome is visually compatible with the graphic style and design of the www.cmvu.en web presentation.

Manuscriptorium is a virtual research environment for the sphere of historical resources.

Within the framework of the VISK 6 project we are gradually processing a series of interesting historical documents. The digitised materials are regularly added to Manuscriptorium.
