Reconstruction of the Klementinum building

The building of the National Library of the Czech Republic is currently undergoing general reconstruction works. For the time of the reconstruction, the digitization center of AiP Beroun have been moved within the building of Klementinum into new rooms.

Difficulties of moving the whole technological process have been compensated by several positives, such as that the new rooms are more suitable for digitization workflow and we were even able to increase the security level in this new location.

Within the framework of the VISK 6 project we are gradually processing a series of interesting historical documents. The digitised materials are regularly added to Manuscriptorium.
